The Bangladesh Heritage and Archaeological Research Centre (BHARC) is a premier organization, founded by a group of dedicated scholars who were mentored by Professor Dr. AKM Shahnawaz, a renowned archaeologist from Jahangirnagar University. The core members, all MPhil and PhD holders, are experts in archaeology, history, and cultural heritage. They are currently employed in prominent roles across a wide spectrum of institutions, including universities, government colleges, the Ministry of Education, and prestigious research institutes.
The fellows of BHARC are driven by a commitment to the advancement of Bangladesh’s historical and archaeological knowledge. They are engaged in groundbreaking research, heritage conservation, and public education initiatives, aimed at both preserving the rich cultural legacy of Bengal and promoting it on a national and global scale.
